The global pandemic Kovid-19 is also having an impact on the admission process for the session 2020-21 at Delhi University. This is the first time that the university will not conduct interviews and group discussions for admission at postgraduate level. DU has taken this decision keeping in mind the social distancing. There are currently 15 marks of interview. Arun Kumar Atri, a member of the Standing Committee in DU, says that the decisions taken after taking into account the problem arising out of Kovid-19 are important. Admission to MBA is through CAT. The MBA course related to DU Finance used to have interview or group discussion after CAT score, but now it will be straight. Similarly, in addition to M.Com, there were interviews in many subjects at MA level, but DU is not interviewing this time.

However, Dr. Arun Kumar Atri says that I am in favor of the interview. At Masters level, students can give interviews through Zoom or various mediums. This evaluates the personality of the student. Just like an MBA student has come through CAT, but his personality is an important aspect during and after MBA. For this, he could give an online interview. Students will come directly for the class college: Students will fill their subjects in the form. After this, when the cutoff comes, it will be known on the dash board of the student that it is suitable for which course in which college. The student will select the college as soon as he / she accompanies the course concerned. The concerned college will get the student’s request. The college will accept it and the student will receive a link to the fee on the mail. The student will have to pay the fees and after that he will be admitted. When the college opens, when the student goes to take the class, he will also take the original copy of all those copies, which he had filled on the admission portal at the time of online application.

No trial for sports quota admission: Due to the impact of Kovid-19, DU abolished ECA and sports trial. Now students will be admitted only on the basis of certificate.

Do not have to come again for admission

Keeping in mind the epidemic, DU has made online admission to graduates or masters this time. Students will not have to come again from application to admission. The student will also apply from home. After the cutoff, online application will also have to be applied in the respective college and subject. At DU, Media Coordinator Dr. Sanjeev Singh said that our preparation does not require the student to come to college or university for admission information or admission. The university has taken several steps for this. Under this, the possible date of application for admission in graduation is 20 June. This time all the process from application to admission is online.
