DU Admission 2021: DU Released Admission Process Possible Schedule, Know Important Dates
Admission in Delhi University for Graduate has been intensified. Potential candor has been prepared for admission to admission committee meeting. The University of Delhi has set the possible dates of possible registration for admission to UG, PG, MPhil and PhD between 8 June and 30 June. The possible dates for the entrance exam have been set from 27 July to 10 August. The entrance examination will be conducted from the National Testing Agency. The University of Delhi estimates that the results of the PG entrance exam will be released by 14 August. The new academic session for PG students is expected to start from September 2020.
Portal will be reopened after CBSE results declared
After the online application process is over by 30 June, DU has once again set the date for opening the portal to update the 12th marks after the CBSE declares the exam results from 31 July to 9 August. However, till then CBSE has not made any announcement about whether the CBSE exam results will come or not.
First cutoff expected on August 11
DU has announced the first cutoff admission on August 11 in the admission calendar. This time will be from 11 to 14 August. By August 16, the student will be able to deposit the admission fee for the first cutoff. DU has also announced 5 cutoff dates for this time. DU has also said that if the seat remains vacant then the cutoff will be taken out.
Fees reduced due to epidemic
Rajesh Jha, the teacher representative of the executive committee at DU, says that the fee that DU is charging for online application is high. We demand that due to Corona epidemic, students will face difficulty in paying fees, so it should be forgiven or reduced. DU has applied for Graduate Admission for General Class and OBC application fees of Rs 250 while their entrance examination fees is Rs 750.
Opposition to take service of IT company
DU teachers have once again proposed to be hired by DU from an IT company for extracurricular activities (ECA) and trials for sports admission and other functions. The teachers are also opposed to this. Teacher representative in EC Rajesh Jha says that DU should decentralize the admission process of sports and ECA. So that it does not have to take help of some kind of company. Colleges can do it better.
