The state-run company National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has decided to impart training to youth in various trades (skills) to contribute to the government’s “Skill India” initiative.

The company is also tying up with industrial training institutes (ITIs) near its plants to increase the chances of employing youth in heavy and process industries.

The company’s Punjab-based Nangal plant under the Department of Fertilizers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ITI, Nangal to train youth in 12 trades. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was exchanged between Renu RP Singh, Deputy Manager (HR), Nangal Unit of NFL and Lalit Mohan, Principal of ITI, Nangal.
