Numaligarh Refinery Limited

Numaligarh Refinery Limited, shortly known as NRL is a Government of India Enterprise. The Numaligarh Refinery Limited is located at Numaligarh in the district of Golaghat in Assam. The NRL was incorporated in the year 1993 and started its operations in the year 1999 and was opened by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri A. B. Vajpayee. Numaligarh Refinery Limited is a joint venture between Bharat Petroleum with a take of 61.65%, Oil India with a stake of 26% and Government of Assam with a stake of 12.35%. NRL’s present authorized capital is Rs. 1000 crores and paid up capital is Rs. 735.63 crores and one of the famous public sector refineries in the country.

The main product range of includes Numaligarh Refinery Limited LPG, Naphtha, Motor Spirit (MS), Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF), High Speed Diesel (HSD), Superior Kerosene Oil ( SKO), Raw Petroleum Coke ( RPC ), Calcined Petroleum Coke ( CPC) & Sulphur. The NRL major units are as follows.
