Age Limit: Not less than 18 years & Not more than 25 years. Relaxation in age limit will be applicable
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- in shape of crossed Bank Draft/Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer, South Central Railway payable at Secunderabad.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 1900/- & Rs. 2000/-
Educational Qualification: Passed 10th or SSC or equivalent with relevant sports Represented the Country in any of the Category-A, B & C Championships/ events.
Selection Process: Through interview.

About South Central Railway:
South Central Railway zone is one among the 17 railway zones in India and started its operations in the year 1966. It was created by merging the Hubli and Vijayawada Divisions of Southern Railway and Sholapur and Secunderabad Divisions of Central Railway. The South Central Railway Zone has got 6 railway divisions under it such as Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntur, Guntakal and Nanded with its Zonal Headquarter in Secunderabad. The total route kilometres of South Central Railway is 5752 Kilometres out of which 1604 Route Kilometres are electrified lines.
After the Northern Railways, South Central Railway is the largest earning railway zone in Indian Railways and serves via its operations in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra and to a limited extent, portions of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu & Madhya Pradesh states. There are many historical monuments and bridges related South Central Railway such as Secunderabad Railway Station Building, Kachiguda Station Building, First Godavari Rail Bridge, Dorabavi Viaduct and few among them. There are total of 704 stations under the operational region of South Central Railway.
The South Central Railway is headed and controlled by General Manager and the 6 divisions under it are controlled by Divisional Railway Managers. Shri Pradeep Kumar Saxena is the General Manager of South Central railway.There are 5 workshops under the control of South Central Railway, 3 in Lallaguda, one in Tirupati and one in Rayanapadu. There are various departments functioning under South Central Railway such as Accounts, Commercial, Electrical, Engineering OL, Construction (CAO), General Manager’s Office, Law, Mechanical, Medical, Operating, Personnel, Public Relations, Safety, Security, Signal & Telecom, Stores, Vigilance and Raj Bhasha. The requirement of personnel for all these departments are getting filled by various recruitment programme getting help throughout the year.
